BTW, I found a table.... Yeah

Okay, everyone knows that I lucked up and found leather chairs for $50, during an after Thanksgiving sale. Well, through months of searching craiglist, Ikea, Ashley's, and other furniture stores... I found my table. Its an beautiful mahogany, sturdy solid wood dining table from Macy's. After taking Karma to Monkey Joes, we went to the mall. We walked around for hours and decided to check out the decor in Macy's home section, when we ran across there clearance room. OMG, there it was originally 899.99 but was marked down to 199.99 with 50% off, due to overstock. At the register I paid, 84.99! Yes... God is good! Its going to look beautiful in my dining room, standby for pics.

Also, here's a preview of my bedroom that I am working on. I am so grateful to HGTV.

Fun day at Monkey Joes

Hey All!

Today I took Karma to Monkey Joes. We had a blast... I chased her all over the building while she scrambled through all of the new bouncers. Her friends Aiden and Amari both showed up. Heres a couple pics.

Karma's Spring Fling

Spring Fling 2009

Today Karma's School (Primrose at Macland) held there annual Spring Fling. She and her friends bounced from activity to activity. They bounced in the bouncers, played golf, painted, hula hooper, and more. Her dad and I are both beat. We are glad she had a good time. BTW, we didn't win anything in the raffle....

Heard from Steve today. He's doing good, still out in sunny California. He sent me this picture of him modeling.... lol!

He is such a good uncle too, here is my favorite picture of him and Karma....

Karma and the Pony!

Yesterday, Karma's School rented a pony for the kids to take pictures. Karma was so afraid at first, because the pony moved a little bit, but she was fine once she realized he was chained. Here's the picture of Karma being a cowgirl.

My Precious Baby Girl! Karma Zariyah

Taking KZM to school, she watching TV in the Jeep!
She is so precious.

Karm's first day back at Primrose, after spending 7 weeks with Granny, Poppy, Nana, and family.
7 weeks was a very long time to be without my baby. But thank God, we are back together. I missed her way more than she missed me... lol
I love my baby girl!

Visit at the Montford Point Museum

Last week I had a chance to visit the birth place of the African American Male Marines. Montford Point, in Jacksonville, NC. It was touching, filled with all kinds of memorabilia belonging to the Marines of the 1940's. I learned a lot, even purchased the video. Its good to know where we've come from, to appreciate more of our future. I encourage everyone to patronized our history.
